How You Can Help CAFB and our Member Food Banks Fight Hunger

California Association of Food Banks (CAFB)

Here are just a few ways that you may assist:

Make a Tax Deductible Donation.  Donating money helps the food bank buy food items that aren't donated, and help s move food out to people who need it most.  Your contribution is tax deductible.

Make a Donation When You do Your State Taxes.  You now have the chance to turn one of your least favorite activities into a way to help feed hungry people.  As you fill out your state tax form, make a contribution to the Emergency Food Assistance Fund, listed under Voluntary Contributions.  The funds will be used to purchase food for hungry families throughout California.

Volunteer Your Time to Your Local Food Bank.  Food bank volunteers come from many different walks of life, ages and life experiences.  Your local food bank depends on volunteers to do the job of feeding the hungry in your community.  Click here to find your nearest food bank.
