As several of our food banks are working around the clock to combat the wildfires in Northern California and get much-needed food and supplied out to their communities, the full Senate is expected to bring their FY 18 budget resolution to a floor vote next week.
As currently envisioned, the tax legislation would put pressure in both the short- and long-term to cut programs like SNAP and other core programs that are vital to our network and the communities we serve.
