CAFB is a membership association of California’s food banks and food distribution organizations. CAFB focus areas include influencing public policy, increasing the visibility of food banking, developing food bank capacity, and sharing resources.  CAFB activities include supporting food stamp and food bank state and federal legislation, providing food bank trainings and technical assistance, and educating the general public about the role of food banks in their community.

California Food Policy Advocates is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of low-income Californians by increasing their access to nutritious and affordable food.  CFPA conducts research on hunger in California, and provides weekly updates on food program and advocacy issues.  CFPA also provides technical assistance, training and support to low-income communities in their efforts to identify and overcome hunger.
