We are expecting a floor vote on the House budget resolution next week.
Action: Call your members of Congress today and urge them to vote no on the House budget resolution when it comes to a vote.
The national partners are likely to organize a national call-in day and so there will be more opportunities to engage next week as we’ll need maximum effort to oppose the House budget resolution in the coming days.
FANO has also created a call to action that you can share with your networks on social media and the California Budget and Policy Center has great new congressional fact sheets that examine the impact of the federal budget proposals. If you need additional resources, talking points or staff contacts, please let Rachel Tucker know.
Thank you for all you do!
