Lauren joined CAFB in 2018 to lead communications strategy that advances hunger awareness, advocacy, and action. Since joining, she developed and now leads the organization’s Member Engagement program, providing opportunities for member food bank staff to learn and connect. For nearly two decades, Lauren has spearheaded communications, advocacy, and engagement programs — both in-house and as an independent consultant. Prior to joining CAFB she focused her efforts on healthcare reform, government technology, civic engagement, organized labor, and child safety.
She holds degrees in Photojournalism and English from the University of Miami.
Fun fact? She keeps her clocks in military time.
