She was previously at the Redwood Empire Food Bank for more than 10 years as Advocacy Manager and in other roles implementing food distribution programs and disaster response. She&#8217;s an expert in Summer Food Service Program and other child nutrition programs. Itz\u00fal is a longtime California Hunger Action Coalition and Anti-hunger advocate working to improve and strengthen the nutrition safety net. Advocacy has long been her passion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Itz\u00fal has a BA in Anthropology and a BFA in sculpture\/printmaking from Sonoma State University. She sings and bangs on the keyboard in a local punk band and loves to garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her favorite food?
