Every two years California Association of Food Banks holds a skills-building conference for its membership and the anti-hunger community. The event features electrifying keynote speakers like last year’s Sheryl Sandberg, forward-thinking workshops on addressing hunger in California, and the rare opportunity for food bankers and anti-hunger fighters to convene on the west coast. It takes thoughtful planning and leadership to create a successful event. Every year Director of Member Services, Terry Garner, forms a planning committee of members from different areas of food banking to help guide the program.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
