To help our members end hunger in their communities, we provide a range of programs, services and <a href=\"\/zh\/member-resources\/\">member resources<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>\u5efa\u7acb\u7cae\u98df\u94f6\u884c\u80fd\u529b<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Our member food banks play a crucial role in California\u2019s safety net, helping feed the\u00a08\u00a0million Californians in need\u00a0every year\u00a0\u2013 and they do so by leveraging every $1 donated into at least $5 worth of food. Achieving this level of efficiency and service is no easy task.<\/p>\n<p>\u98df\u54c1\u94f6\u884c\u4e1a\u52a1\u662f\u4e00\u9879\u590d\u6742\u7684\u540e\u52e4\u5de5\u4f5c\uff0c\u4ece\u83b7\u5f97\u6350\u8d60\u7684\u98df\u54c1\u5230\u5b9e\u65bd\u5b89\u5168\u7684\u5904\u7406\u548c\u50a8\u5b58\u505a\u6cd5\uff0c\u518d\u5230\u9009\u62e9\u5f53\u5730\u7684\u6148\u5584\u673a\u6784\u6765\u5e2e\u52a9\u5206\u914d\u98df\u54c1\uff0c\u5728\u6574\u4e2a\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\u90fd\u9700\u8981\u63d0\u9ad8\u6548\u7387\u3002<\/p>\n<p>CAFB helps our members become more effective and stay up-to-date by facilitating the sharing of best practices among food banks through regional meetings, <a href=\"\/zh\/calfresh-outreach-resources\/#2015 budget\">\u7f51\u7edc\u7814\u8ba8\u4f1a<\/a>, <a href=\"\/zh\/newsletter\/\">newsletters<\/a>\u00a0\u548c <a href=\"\/zh\/conference\/\">conferences<\/a>. Topics include food sourcing, logistics, advocacy, fundraising, community outreach and nutrition. The Innovative Programs section of our website showcases some of the effective and replicable programs developed by our members.<\/p>\n<p>Every two years, CAFB hosts an anti-hunger conference for our members, partners and stakeholders. The next conference will be held in Sacramento in Spring 2019. Learn about our past conferences <a href=\"\/zh\/conference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u70b9\u51fb\u8fd9\u91cc<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Providing Funding Opportunities &amp; Food Resources<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Over the past year, CAFB has secured $7.25 million dollars in funding for our member food banks \u2013 through foundation grants, government funds, and other sources \u2013 to help them conduct CalFresh (food stamp) outreach, provide nutrition education, purchase foods such as fresh produce and protein items, and help with special efforts, such as food assistance for drought-stricken regions.<\/p>\n<p>Members receive news of our funding opportunities through our <a href=\"\/zh\/newsletter\/\">members-only newsletter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Strengthening Local Advocacy Programs<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In addition to our <a href=\"\/zh\/advocacy\/\">work at the federal and state levels<\/a> advocating for food banks and the people they serve, CAFB also supports our member food banks as they develop and expand their local hunger advocacy programs. To help our members mobilize their communities to end hunger, we provide technical assistance, skills building, and <a href=\"\/zh\/useful-advocacy-resources\/\">resources for local advocacy programs<\/a>.
