Firdaus Jahan, MPA, Board Liaison/Project Manager

Firdaus joined CAFB in 2022 as the Board Liaison/Project Manager. In this role, she provides essential support to the Board of Directors and the CEO, ensuring seamless operations and effective governance. Firdaus also plays a key role in the Food ACCESS Conference and Annual Member Meeting, collaborating with the Member Engagement Team to drive impactful initiatives. In addition to her core responsibilities, she manages special projects, currently focusing on the Boundless BIPOC Farms Project, which strives to bridge the gap in delivering culturally relevant foods from farms to Bay Area food banks and communities.

With over twelve years of experience in federal and local government sectors, as well as Special Districts, Firdaus brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from California State University, East Bay, and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University.
