Protect SNAP from the Largest Cuts in US History

The Senate just passed their Budget Reconciliation Bill with nearly $1 TRILLION in cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Medicaid. But it’s not too late. The bill heads to the House for a vote next, and we have a small window of opportunity to stop this bill from becoming a reality.

More than 5.5 million Californians rely on SNAP to buy groceries, and over 15 million use Medicaid to get basic health care. Losing these benefits means more kids and families going without the nutritious food they need to thrive and losing critical access to doctors and nurses.

This is an emergency—and time is running out. Write to your Member of Congress right now and tell them: No cuts to SNAP or Medicaid!
