60-second Disaster CalFresh PSA

Were you affected by the fires or mudslides? If so you may qualify for Disaster CalFresh which provides temporary food assistance to people recovering from disasters. People who qualify are issued a debit card with funds that can be used to buy food. Benefits are available for anyone living or working in Ventura or Santa Barbara counties and who experienced loss due to Thomas Fire in December or the mudslide in January. People who are not usually eligible for CalFresh may qualify for Disaster CalFresh. In order to receive benefits, you must apply before February 14. To apply, please visit your local social services office. This message is brought to you by California Association of Food Banks.
