Brenda joined CAFB 2018 as a Produce Solicitor. She is a liaison with growers and packers to find produce for our member food banks. Previously Chief Deputy Agricultural Commissioner for the San Luis Obispo County Department of Agriculture/Weights and Measures, Brenda has a 37-year career in public service working with the central coast-area agricultural community.
Brenda grew up on a small family farm in Kingsburg, California. She is a proud Cal Poly San Luis Obispo alumni, with a BS Degree in Ornamental Horticulture. She is also a member of Class 28 of the California Agricultural Leadership Program.
Her favorite food? All vegetables.
