Feeding America had an incredible number of qualified applicants this year apply to their Policy Engagement and Advocacy Committee, or PEAC. Among the new members accepted was our very own Vince Hall, executive director of Feeding San Diego. Congratulations to Vince on this appointment who joins PEAK chair Andy Souza of Community Food Bank in representing the Western region.
The Policy Engagement and Advocacy Committee, or PEAC, is Feeding America’s network government relations committee. It was formed in 2011 to create a more systematic, consistent, and strategic way to engage the network in our public policy and advocacy efforts.
