Frequently Asked Questions:

Is the venue for Food ACCESS changing?

No, the 2022 Conference October 3-4th will be held at same venue: Sacramento’s new SAFE Credit Union Convention Center.

When will registration open?

Conference registration will open in early Summer 2022.

Will proof of COVID-19 vaccination be required?

Yes, we anticipate that we will be requiring vaccinations. The California Association of Food Banks is committed to protecting the health and safety of conference attendees and enable in-person events to take place with lower risk to participants. Our decisions and preventive measures are guided by the requirements and recommendations of the California Department of Public Health, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local health authorities.

Will masks be required?

If at the time of the event, California Department of Public Health has mandated masking for large indoor events, then masks will be required. If there is no mask mandate in place at the time of the event, then masking will be optional for attendees.

Does CAFB have hotel rooms available for conference attendees?

Yes. CAFB reserved a block of rooms for attendees at a hotel within walking distance of the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. More information on hotel options will be available when registration opens in early Summer 2022.
